LTC offering seminar for firefighters

CLEVELAND, WI

Lakeshore Technical College is offering “The Art of First-Due” seminar for firefighters in May.

The seminar will present information to help the first-arriving company officer or battalion chief rapidly survey an emergency situation and decide the best mode to start incident handling.

The one-day seminar will be offered on two dates. Participants can register for either Class #21402, which will be held May 16, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or Class #21403, which will be held May 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Former Battalion Chief and Safety Officer Dave Dodson will be the instructor. Dodson has more than 25 years experience in the firefighting business and is the author of the book “Fire Department Incident Safety Officer.”
