| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 03/14/08 CLEVELAND, WI– Lakeshore Technical College is offering small business seminars at the Cleveland campus in April. Participants will gain valuable information to better manage their businesses. “Selling on eBay” will be held April 8 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Room L107. The class number is 27335, and the fee is $39. The seminar will cover the eBay selling process, such as getting inventory, marketing items, using online payment accounts and shipping goods. Everyone from beginners to experienced “eBayers” may benefit from this seminar. eBay Entrepreneur Kristy Smith will be the presenter. “Web Design Essentials” is a two-day seminar that will be held April 14 and 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Room L117. The class number is 27232, and the fee is $79. Participants will learn how to create a web site using web page software as well as understand and directly modify HTML code. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment is recommended. LTC IT Instructor Russ Everson will be the presenter. “Grant Writing—How to Get Started” will be held April 17 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Wisconsin Training Room. The class number is 27321, and the fee is $39. Participants will learn the basics of finding appropriate grant opportunities, developing quality proposals and winning successful grants. The workshop also will cover grant vocabulary. LTC Grant Writers Linda Rose and Rebecca Polar will be the presenters. The seminars will be held in the Lakeshore Building, and free parking is available in the east (second entrance) parking lot.
