LTC to hold info sessions on pharmacy technician program

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
03/19/08

CLEVELAND, WI

Lakeshore Technical College is hosting info sessions for individuals interested in learning about the pharmacy technician program.

The info sessions will be held April 1, April 30 and May 29 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Room L231 in the Lakeshore Building at LTC’s Cleveland campus.

Pharmacy technicians assist registered pharmacists in hospital or community pharmacies. It is a good career fit for those who are good with people, compassionate, interested in health care, highly organized and detail oriented.

The pharmacy technician program typically takes one year to complete if attending full-time and includes participation in hands-on training through two clinical programs.

For students wishing to continue their education, LTC offers the option to earn an associate degree in pharmacy services management.

The info sessions are open to the public, and there is no fee to attend. To register, call 888-GO-TO-LTC (888-468-6582), ext. 1100.

For more information, contact LTC Admissions Specialist Vicki Stock at 888-468-6582, ext. 1143, or 920-693-1143.
