Description: ...is an introductory clinical course that emphasizes basic nursing skills and application of the nursing process in meeting the needs of diverse clients across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on performing basic nursing skills, the formation of nurse-client relationships, communication, data collection, documentation, and medication administration. Student needs a current TB test and professional CPR card (1 and 2 person, adult, infant, and child, AED). Student needs to be admitted to the Nursing program.
