Course Description

A combination of classroom and hands-on instruction prepares students to safely respond to hazardous material incidents. Satisfies OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.120 Operations Level training requirements. Topics include:

  • Air monitoring and hazard recognition
  • Decontamination
  • Emergency response SOPs and simulations
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Spill control
  • Toxicology & medical surveillance

All sessions are taught by Ken Rost.
