Employer–On–Campus Code of Conduct

Please read the Code of Conduct below before submitting the Employer–On–Campus registration form.

  1. Employers will register online here, no later than noon on the Friday of the week preceding their requested visit date and time. Employers must list job title(s) for which they will be recruiting. We strongly encourage employers to post the job(s) on Wisconsin TechConnect here.
  2. Employers will abide by the assignment decisions of Career Placement Services (CPS), who will assign times on a first-come, first-served basis. Dates and times available are coordinated with the academic calendar (days when students are on campus) and around campus activities. ses will confirm assigned dates and times via email notification within 2 business days of receipt.
  3. Employers will begin and conclude business at the assigned recruiting station within the time slot reserved. Continued conversations to wrap up with job seekers may occur in other public areas of the college after the assigned time has elapsed. Employers will commit to staffing the recruiting station for the entire time slot reserved.
  4. Employers are responsible for bringing their own supply materials (application forms, pens, pencils, business cards, etc.), and are encouraged to bring promotional giveaway items.
  5. Employer-On-Campus may be used only for lawful recruiting purposes by employers seeking employees. The conditions/terms of employment may not violate any state and federal laws or Executive Orders, including but not limited to Equal Employment Opportunity and Fair Employment mandates.
  6. All methods of compensation for job openings will guarantee at least minimum wage as required by Federal, Wisconsin State and municipal law. Compensation for tipped occupations must, on average - including both the hourly wage and tips - equal or exceed the legal minimum wage.
