Adjunct Faculty – General Education
Employment and Work Schedule
- Lakeshore Technical College is currently seeking adjunct faculty to teach in the General Education Division program areas.
- Classes are offered at LTC's Cleveland campus, as well as the Manitowoc and Sheboygan Job Centers.
Faculty is needed for both day and evening classes in the following program discipline areas:
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Psychology
- English
- Economics
- Biology
- Sociology
Job Description
Provide instruction to students in day and evening courses. Responsible
for placing learning first and providing educational experiences
for learners in various formats, schedules, and in various places
in accordance with the mission of the college inclusive of: facilitating
learning, assessing student performance, as well as instruction
and outcomes, developing and maintaining current/relevant course
materials, and communicating with the community, other schools,
the college, the division, and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in the program discipline area.
- One year (720 hours) teaching experience.
- One year (2000) hours of non-teaching occupational experience outside the field of education.
- Experience with computer assisted instruction and software.
- Working knowledge of PC software in a windows environment.
- Must be well motivated and have a strong interest in contributing to the success of the College.
- Positive human relations and effective written and oral communication skills essential.
- Must possess excellent classroom delivery skills, which encourage success and participation on the part of students.
- Must meet the Wisconsin Technical College System certification requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in the program discipline area.
- Curriculum development experience.
