High-Tech Manufacturing Career Boot Camp

In this innovative, hands-on program you'll receive the training you need to be successful in one of LTC's high-tech manufacturing degree programs or prepare for entry-level high-tech manufacturing employment.

We've broken down our Boot Camp into several modules. Each one-credit module runs for two weeks, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until noon on the LTC-Cleveland campus.

Module One: Machine Tool Measuring (#42070) $154.33
July 16-19 and July 23-26
You will get an overview of precision measuring instruments and measurement techniques, use comparison measuring instruments and measurement techniques, and perform layout processes.

Student must have completed Machine Tool Measuring prior to enrolling in one of the following:

Module Two, Option One: Machine Tool Saws (#42075) $154.33
July 30-August 2 and August 6-9
You will learn to follow cutoff machine tool safety rules and operate horizontal cutoff machine tools and vertical cutoff machine tools.

Module Two, Option Two: Machine Tool Drills (#42076) $154.33
July 30-August 2 and August 6-9
You will learn to follow drilling machine tool safety rules, identify drilling machine tool components, and operate sensitive drilling machine tools and radial drilling machine tools.
