PLUS (Loans for Parents)
PLUS loans enable parents with good credit histories to borrow to help pay the education expenses of each child who is an eligible dependent undergraduate student enrolled at least half-time (6 credits). PLUS loans are not awarded based on need and are considered a last resort type of funding. Before a parent may request a PLUS loan, the student must have completed a FAFSA and the Student's financial aid file must be complete as well. Click here to begin.

Alternative Loans (Private Loans)
Alternative loans are available for students to fill the gap between federal and state financial aid and their tuition. Some alternative loans cover prior balances, eligible to students who are not in a financial aid eligible program or for students not making satisfactory academic progress. The financial aid office has selected 6 of their top lenders for alternative loans. You can compare each loan product and get application information immediately. We do encourage you to complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before seeking out an alternative loan. Click here to begin.
