How do the classes work?
All classes are "Independent Study." This means that from
the date of registration, you'll have 18 weeks to complete the class.
Each class is worth one-half credit. When you finish a class, your
instructor will send a copy of your record, with your final grade,
to your high school. The high school then adds this to your transcript.
Classes are held one evening a week. If you work second shift, special
arrangements can be made.
Will I need textbooks?
Yes. You can buy or order your books at the LTC Bookstore, located
on the Cleveland Campus. If you're ordering your books, they'll
be sent to your classroom at LTC Manitowoc or LTC Sheboygan. You
can call the LTC Bookstore at 920.693.1153 for current book prices.
The LTC Bookstore accepts credit cards, checks and money orders.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held at:
LTC Sheboygan
3620 Wilgus Avenue
Sheboygan WI 53081
Room 111
How do I get started?
Every public and private high school in Manitowoc and Sheboygan
counties have registration forms in their guidance office. You'll
need to fill out a registration form. Include the class number (high
school counselors have the class descriptions and class numbers)
and have it signed by the counselor or the principal of the high
school. Mail (or drop off) the registration form to the LTC Cleveland
Campus Registration Desk, with the registration fee(s) of $75 per
class.
