The items listed in the Table of Contents should be accessed in the order given. Most of the material will build on what was presented in previous sections.

The Online Orientation is designed to acquaint learners with the technologies and resources needed to successfully complete their degree program. As such, this information should prove very useful to you as you begin your course work at Lakeshore Technical College. Please allow ample time and energy to complete this orientation prior to the start of classes. You will not be granted access to participate in online courses until you have successfully completed the Online Orientation.

Each section of the orientation contains information relevant to the topic being discussed. After you've reviewed this material, you may be required to submit one or more exercises/assignments to verify mastery of the topic.
