Three Lakeshore Technical College industrial welding students recently received scholarships from the American Welding Society. Bradley Bruseth and Matthew Kent, both of Manitowoc, and Jason Staral, of Two Rivers, each received the Rudy Baumann/Ben Mueller Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded annually by the American Welding Society Lakeshore Section. All three students now qualify to be considered for regional scholarships through AWS. LTC’s industrial welding technical diploma is a one-year program that prepares students for careers in fabrication, maintenance, production and structural welding.
