Lakeshore Technical College is offering small business seminars at the Cleveland campus in February. Participants will gain valuable information to better manage their businesses.

● Tax Issues for Small Business will be held Feb. 12 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Wisconsin Training Room. The class number is 27233, and the fee is $39.

The seminar will focus on how to document your business deductions and expenses. Participants will learn the importance of maximizing tax return deductions and also which deductions may cause a “red flag” for the IRS. The seminar will review common issues relating to sales tax, payroll taxes and income tax. LTC Accounting Instructor Bob Martin will be the presenter.

● Selling on eBay will be held Feb. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to noon in Room L107. The class number is 27334, and the fee is $39.

The seminar will cover the eBay selling process, such as getting inventory, marketing items, using online payment accounts and shipping goods. Everyone from beginners to experienced “eBayers” may benefit from this seminar. eBay Entrepreneur Kristy Smith will be the presenter.
