Lakeshore Technical College Human Resource Administration student Dawn Mischler, of Sheboygan, has been selected to serve as LTC’s 2008-09 Wisconsin Technical College System State Ambassador. As state ambassador, Mischler will represent LTC at WTCS, campus and community events. Mischler already recently served on a student panel at LTC’s Legislative Breakfast and as a volunteer for LTC’s Rebuilding Together project. The WTCS State Ambassador program recognizes outstanding student achievement in career and technical education and develops awareness for Wisconsin’s technical colleges. Cleveland State Bank sponsors LTC’s program. Mischler, along with 15 other new state ambassadors from Wisconsin’s technical colleges, was recognized recently at the WTCS State Ambassador Induction/Recognition Ceremony in Madison. Mischler is replacing LTC’s 2007-08 State Ambassador Sujen Arzate. Mischler also is the outgoing president of LTC’s Society for Human Resource Management student chapter and was recently elected to serve another term as vice president.
