LTC offering safety seminars in December

CLEVELAND, WI –
Lakeshore Technical College is offering the following safety seminars to the general public in December at the Cleveland campus:
"AST/UST Remover/Cleaner" will be held Dec. 2-3 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The class number is 61518 and the fee is $345.
"Waste Site Worker Refresher" will be held Dec. 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The class number is 61278 and the fee is $225.
"Forklift Safety Classroom Course" will be held Dec. 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The class number is 61358 and the fee is $80.
"Fire Extinguisher Training" will be held Dec. 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The class number is 61436 and the fee is $19.
"Fire Extinguisher Training" will be held Dec. 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The class number is 61437 and the fee is $19.
"Forklift Train-the-Trainer" will be held Dec. 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The class number is 61361 and the fee is $295.
"Forklift Train-the-Trainer Refresher" will be held Dec. 11 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The class number is 61363 and the fee is $110.
"Ammonia Emergency Response Tech" will be held Dec. 15-17 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The class number is 61242 and the fee is $545.
"Aboveground Storage Tank Installer" will be held Dec. 16-17 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The class number is 60661 and the fee is $345.
"Underground Storage Tank Installer" will be held Dec. 18-19 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The class number is 60662 and the fee is $345.
"Incident Command" will be held Dec. 18-19 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The class number is 61329 and the fee is $315.
The Public Safety Training Center at LTC is one of only a few in the nation
equipped to provide hands-on hazardous material training and technical assistance
to companies. The center consists of a 16,000 square foot building with a lecture
hall and classrooms; two indoor, fully heated arenas; and an ITV-Classroom
Emergency Operations Center. The 15-acre outdoor arena is equipped with 17
specific simulator training stations that include a two-story computerized
search and rescue building used for hands-on emergency response and fire training.
LTC's Public Safety Training Center provides students an opportunity to apply
and analyze their training in real world situations.
