LTC Manitowoc to host Microsoft Excel training courses

CLEVELAND, WI –
Microsoft Excel 2007 will be the focus of a series of classes at Lakeshore Technical College's Manitowoc Campus, 3733 Dewey St., Manitowoc, in February and March.
The classes will explore the basics of Excel 2007, including the Excel workspace, simple formulas and functions, the difference between absolute and relative references, how to format numbers and how to use charts.
Excel 2007 Basic: Level 1, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday Feb. 17. Participants of the course, No. 27781, will learn how to navigate the workspace, enter numbers, learn about different operations, and how to use parenthesis in equations.
Excel 2007 Basic: Level 2, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24. Attendees will learn to format numbers, align cell contents, and change the look of the worksheet using design features and templates. The class is No. 27782.
Excel 2007: Charts, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011, and is designed to teach students to create basic charts in Excel 2007 and explain the different types of charts available. The class, No. 27783 also will address changing chart data, formatting charts, working with chart axes and using templates.
Each class costs $39.
