LTC's Food Manufacturing Production certificate has been specifically-designed with employer input to provide the knowledge, skills and abilities essential to food production line workers in a variety of food manufacturing environments.
Five 8-week classes focus on sanitation, hazard analysis and critical control points, lean manufacturing principles, quality concepts and high-speed packaging. Complete one or all of the courses, and earn 1-3 college credits per class.
This series of classes will give students a broad based overview of the food manufacturing production business, as well as an introduction to the latest industry standards for safety and efficiency. Hands on demonstrations, scenarios, and company visits will reinforce classroom learning. This certificate is recommended for current food production workers looking to expand their knowledge and skill and for those interested in seeking employment with food manufacturing firms.
